Happy Xmas!

It is very likely that I won't be back on the blog now until the new year, I'm treating the misses to a holiday away. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the blog in one way or another, just knowing there are people taking a look helps with motivation. Please accept my apologies if I've upset anyone since the beginning of September, I can be quite opinionated at times and gambling can bring out the worse in you...

My aims for the new year are:
- Work to properly researched strategies and have no fear of implementing them - Trading/My Bets;
- Continue to acquire knowledge - reading/forums/research/feedback/analysis;
- Continue with the hypnotherapy;
- Continue to analyse tipsters and only work with the most profitable (as per recent and past results);
- Quit my part-time job and work for charity.

I think they're all attainable, one step at a time is the best way forward.

Dodgy results...

After looking at some stats I decided to play 3 bets on the French Ligue 2, all lost. Now, how can it be possible that top of the table Evian lose at home against 3rd from bottom Reims, and 2nd top at home loses against 4th from bottom? Coincidence or what. I did my research, but I suppose that's the way it goes. To round off a bad night Clermont conceded a late equaliser against bottom of the table Grenoble after being 2-0 up. It's a good job the tipsters backed  me up today:

I look at myself in the mirror sometimes and think, "why did you place that bet?"... I think it's because I want to be standing on my own two feet. The tipsters are great but as a punter you want to find your own value too, and it's something I must set my sights on for the new year. It's hugely disappointing that your own bets are tarnishing your overall performance: Trading has lost 37 PTS and Accidental Bets and My Bets have also had losses. It's fair to say I've got my work cut out and I'll need to be better organised; sometimes I do the research 5 minutes before the game starts.

You'll see that there's a new service in the table: WRT which is Winning Racing Tips. Also, Linebacker is changing its name to SportsbetUSA and will now include Ice Hockey, Basketball and Baseball. They have proven themselves in American Football but I'm not sure what to do with regards to the other sports. Maybe it's a good idea to paper trade them first before backing them with money.

What a day for Northern Monkey Punter, all 3 bets coming off... blast, I knew I should of placed that E/W treble...lol. And another good day for Equine Investments and Pro Bandit. Here's Equine's performance since coming back:
