The positives are the negatives

A quiet day today but it wouldn't be a normal day if I hadn't shot myself in the foot...

Pro Bandit had a poor day, only the other day I noticed that Wolverhampton is a very inconsistent course and today backed that up. Low odds favourites getting beat left right and centre. Would be interesting to look at the stats for Wolverhampton for this time of year.

I wasn't content on taking a 0.5 PT loss on the day for the Trading, that was too low so I turned it into a 5.37 PTS loss... I'm an optimist but it appears this isn't for me, or if I do do it then I'll only be following a service, nothing off my own back because I just haven't got the discipline, yet. I get several opportunities to get out of trades but stay in hoping for a turnaround. The worse of all is that I do my research and I know what the likely outcome is going to be, but I just can't accept the small losses. I need to be a winner, always, and Trading just isn't like that. I have been on courses, I understand what it takes to be successful but when it comes to getting my hands dirty I get it all wrong, any suggestions anyone? I'm thinking of hypnotherapy, again... there are some internal mechanisms that just aren't functioning as they should and I need to get to the bottom of it! I have said I'm determined! lol

A mixed day in all honesty with my own Asian Handicap on Groningen winning and Geert Van Elson's selection on the French Ligue 2 also winning.

Not many football selections for the weekend so it'll be an opportunity to get my head down and do some studying as well as sorting out other bits and pieces. There appear to be some good local hypnotherapists so may do some calling...

Until tomorrow

  3. Hi Kodagira,
Who told you that trading would be easy?
After a month or so you are giving up?
    Here is a suggestion:
Set a very small bank and do trade for minimum stakes. Do it every day for 5 months and after that you know.

  4. I'd agree with the second post. give it up before your bank gets wiped.

  5. Trading is no different to betting. If you haven't got an edge then you won't make money. You wouldn't back a selection from a tipster if you didn't think they had an edge so don't trade unless you have some kind of tactic/strategy that you think gives you an advantage over everyone else.

If you have got an edge then it sounds like it is just self discipline that is costing you and that's something that you'll just have to learn over time. I'd def reduce your stakes if you do continue with it.
