Sorry Spurs...

Looks like it's going to be a disappointing end to Spurs' Champions League campaign, I only hope we do ourselves proud and win 5-0 next week! lol

Pro Bandit and Form Bet were both helped out by the BOG bookmakers today. I do place bets with non-BOG bookmakers at times in the hope that odds don't drift. Fortunately for me I'd placed my winners with BOG bookmakers and losers with non-BOG today.

Only yesterday I had mentioned Form Bet's performance as a slight worry then we get two big winners. I do like it when that happens, performance turning for the better just as I'm starting to get a bit twitchy. A long odds winner for Pro Bandit was also nice to see coming in at 8.5 for a 2.25 PTS profit and a 1.75 PTS profit for the service on the day.

I just want to talk a little about volatility and seeing things out...

As I just said only yesterday I was pointing out Form Bet's performance. Since I subscribed to the service the following has happened:
1. An initial 15 PTS loss was made in the first 30 days.
2. A profit of 23 PTS was made in the first 36 days - there were some big winners after 30 days.
3. There was a peak of 30 PTS profit in the first 80 days.
4. The 30 PTS profit peak was followed by a 48 PT loss.
5. There was a new profit peak of 37 PTS after 125 days.
6. After 140 days, profit was standing at 3 PTS.
7. After 145 days, profit was standing at 28 PTS.

There are several other ups and downs that I haven't included but the above goes to show how difficult betting is. It really is a long-term game, don't ever get worked up over short-term losses and don't jump too high after some tidy winnings. There has been much talk on the SBC forum lately about losing runs and rightly so. In my opinion the only way to solve disgruntled subscribers is to have set windows when subscriptions are open. That isn't easy for a service that operates all year round but would force people to look more long-term, in my opinion. So, football tipsters could open their subscription windows in June or July, for example. I subscribed to Each Way Value and lost around £2,000, shocking. Fortunately I cut my losses in January before further severe losses were made until the service stopped.

A good day and a good profit, pity Luton couldn't have held on.

Until tomorrow

  1. Hi Kodagira

The bets supplied via Betadvisor are not the full range of systembets offered directly via my site. Betadvisor are restricting to a certain percentage and number of bets each day and a lot of our profits come from automated betting and other forms of analysis which cannot be posted up as just a blind tip. For example the sire analysis I did at the weekend produced an 88/1 BSP winner Dubawi Sound and we also had a 60/1 System winner at Cheltenham Oiseau De Nuit so I suggest you subscribe directly via the site as I may be dropping Betadvisor soon as their monthly costs are too high compared to my £30 per month rate. Hope that helps, Dave @ FormBet http://formbet.co.uk
