This has got to stop

Pure greed and pure naivety have cost me any winnings today. My own bets have always been like this, I leave a lot of my bets to chance and if there's anyone out there about to set up their own system then please learn from my mistakes.

Here are today's results:

So two placed horses for Each Way Value today so not as bad a loss as usual. Pro Bandit came in with an important point but we did dutch it again so there had to be a winner, pity about the 20P Rule 4 Deduction.

What went wrong with my trading today?

Let's start with the Bettor Logic bets, the first one earlier in the day won at around evens, it was for Spartak Moscow to win both halves which they duly did. The second bet dutching the correct score on FC Koln almost came in, but at 1-1 I should have placed a saver bet, which I didn't, because I thought I would still win, how ****ing naive of me...

The trading was also winning and I could have easily hedged the bet to guarantee myself about £100 no matter what the outcome on the under/over 2.5 goals market, but guess what, I thought with a couple of minutes to go there wouldn't be any further goals. It's pure greed, that's all it is and I'm not really sure how I can get this out of my system. I have been going really well with the trading and always stopped when a reasonable profit has been reached, but today was different, was I overconfident, did I think that I was right and was certain to win?? I'll certainly be writing a lot down on my notes about trading and greed will be first... my naievety cost me about £350. If I'm ever going to be successful I have to sort my head out.

The positives are I'm building up money throughout the game, just a pity they're being outweighed by the one negative.

Until tomorrow
