Naughty bookies - rated

The football tipsters have been compensating for the poor performances from the horse racing tipsters, thankfully. I wouldn't want another November where most services performed terribly. Here are January's results thus far:

To be fair Each Way Value and Herbie Fogg both had winning bets this month but guess when those winning bets happened? This is sod's law in its extreme, but it happened when coming back from France a Eurostar train left without us meaning we got back to England an hour late, if that hadn't of happened I would have been back in time to see emails and get bets on. By the time I had seen emails there was no value left and guess what? I missed out on 11 PTS profit. Since then I've been placing all bets and guess what? No winning bets....... arrrrhhh. Who said gambling was easy? Let me show you something funny!

Stan James is a bad bookie! They are not worried if you sell your car, go without toothpaste, miss out on your dream holiday or lie that you forget to get the misses a birthday present, they are only worried about you lining their pockets with cash. Keep them on-side but be witty, don't fall into their traps. Although I have lost money with them they have restricted my account, well, it's been restricted for about 3 months now. The bottom line is make sure you don't lose money with them initially because once they realise you want to be a winning punter they restrict you to £4 bets, oh, and give you 25 seconds to consider their proposal! lol.

Here are my good, naughty and very naughty bookie lists:

Good
- Ladbrokes;
- Bet365;
- Pinnacle Sports;
- Paddy Power;
- 5Dimes;
- 10 Bet;
- 12 Bet;
- William Hill (almost naughty).

Naughty:
- 888Sport;
- Blue Square;
- Bwin;
- Coral;
- Eurosport Bet;
- Expekt;
- Totesport;
- Victor Chandler;
- Unibet;

Very naughty:
- Betfred;
- Boylesports;
- Interwetten;
- Skybet;
- Sportingbet;
- Stan James

I want to reemphasise that you should do your best to place winning bets only with the Very Naughty bookies otherwise you're unlikely to get your losses back. Fortunately I've only lost money with 2 bookies in the list so I'll have to say bye bye to that money, my pseudo accounts have got the money back though.

Before I go I'll leave you with today's results:

Highlight of the day was Northern Monkey Punter's two outsiders doing well: Ocean Legend coming in 2nd at 14/1 and Mongoose Alert finishing in 3rd at 6/1. Can't say I'm understanding the type of bets that come through from Neural Bets, no writeups or anything.

Will be busy day tomorrow as always, until then!

  1. Funny you should mention Stan James as this has also happened to me this week can only get a couple of quid on any bets now and have a count down clock to decide.

    They even cancelled my phone betting which i havn't even used yet.

    They must be having a tough year bless em!! always anoying though as you point out there happy to take bets when we are losing...

    But quick to shut us down when we win a few quid

  2. Hi,

    Have enjoyed the blog from the beginning and great to see how the portfolio has grown.

    Not sure I'd go in for the hypnotherapy myself - I'd be a bit worried about what I might find out about myself! It's possibly the most unique idead I've heard to help beat the bookies!

    Talking of which, I just wondered if Interwetten still allow you to place bets. They restricted me to about £15 per bet on the footie, and then one day without warning, they told me I couldn't bet on the sports anymore, just in the Casino!

    Interesting that your ratings of the different bookies are very similar to how mine would be. Not sure how I'd cope without Pinnacle for the football.

    Finally, I'd love to link to your blog from mine, but I'm ashamed to say I can't work out how to do it. Any help much appreciated!

    All the best.

  3. Hi Paul,

    Stan James is a joke, for such bookies we need to make a profit and do a runner to be honest, it's the only way to actually make money with them. I got the same message regarding the phone betting when I'd never even used it! lol At least we can laugh about it though, and learn from it. Fortunately I have several pseudo accounts and lessons learnt will be applied to those accounts.

    Hi TPI,

    Glad to see you've enjoyed the blog, I've enjoyed writing it too, saved me bottling everything up and stressing the misses out too. lol

    Hypnotherapy is misinterpreted, sessions are designed around what you want to get out of them. You may have revision problems at college, lack of self-motivation or as in my case a screw loose somewhere that meant you'd be spontaneous and lose discipline ultimately leading to losing money. The hypnotherapist has been using several techniques to help me and now it's certainly paying dividends, I don't feel that urge anymore to do anything outside of my systems!

    Pinnacle don't shut you down until you've made a lot of money, so at least we've got them on our side.

    As for adding the blog, go to the blog's Dashboard, then in the blog list go to Add and then add my site to the URL field, click Next and Bob's your uncle, hopefully.

    Thanks guys,

    Kodagira
