Why you should be weary of Sunday league footy - and some organisational changes

You'll see a pic of my leg in a minute, fully clothed in make-up resembling stud marks.

Table is now fully updated with net profits; so profits before deductions. All Trading, Bettorlogic et all services are now separate:
- BLB - exclusive Bettor Logic Bets that appear on the software's main page;
- TRAM - Trading - mine - all of my own trades;
- TRAS - Trading - subscriptions - all trades supplied to me;
- MB - My Bets - any bet I place myself, be it from Bettor Logic or not.

I have decided to remove associated costs from the profits, due to the figures being distorted. I mean, the Trading was showing a 37 PTS loss, but in reality it is only showing a 17.7 PTS loss from actual trades. I have been very unlucky with Each Way Value in the sense that when winning bets have come through I have been unable to place them. It is rare that a bet isn't placed so in this case it really is very unlucky... I shall be getting my Short Priced Doubles/Trebles (SPDT) back up and running for this coming weekend and will also be introducing another two services of my own, combining some tips from various services to form doubles and trebles: one for horse racing and the other for football.

So that's some organisational changes sorted out...

As for today a bit of an anticlimax with some good results early in the day only for Mr Gekko's two selections to lose later on. Walsall couldn't hold onto their early goal lead and Crewe went down at Torquay. Neural Bets (NB), a new service, did well today with 4/5 selections winning, however, it has been a rocky ride with them since the service started at the beginning of the month with a lot of short priced selections, many not coming in, but good to see we're in profit now (I'm bleady impatient aren't I, only 8 days of the service and I'm expecting profits... lol).

I will not be doing any of my own trading from now on without carrying out the relevant research, full stop.

And back to our first topic, my leg. It's a normal bulky leg but with 6 perforations, from 6 stud marks. Ok, we won the game 7-3 and I played reasonably well considering we hadn't played for two months because of the weather and whatnot, but Sunday league football is brutal. With a stamp like that I could have been off work with a broken leg...

Anyway, take a long hard look at it and make an intelligent decision before playing on Sundays! lol.

As a gambler and trader it's so easy to stay indoors, come up with excuses not to go out for the sake of a few pounds here and there. My message is never forget about balance, make sure you go out after a long day, play footy, socialise or ride your bike somewhere. This business can turn us into albinos.

  1. Hi Kodagira,

    As a fellow (6-a-side) Sunday football fool, I can only sympathise and congratulate on your win - I was even more foolish than that a few months ago and joined a midweek 6-a-side team as well. I pulled a hamstring at the first midweek game, had to take a couple of weeks off and decided I was simply too old for two games a week. And I'm only 29!

    But you're right, you have to take a break from staring at the computer screen from time to time, that's absolutely crucial.

    Have a great 2011 btw!

    cheers,
    skeeve

  2. Thanks Skeeve for the comment, I am a true believer of balance in all walks of life. If you stay in, go out. If your unhappy, do something to make you happy (watch You've Been Framed). If you've won lots, be prepared for the downs. And more crucially with gambling, if you've had losses, be prepared for the winnings!

    I hope the good run continues Skeeve! Hard work always warrants good rewards!
