Again, Sunday an anticlimax - table now with financial bits

Over the next week I'm going to be looking at the performance of every Sunday we've had betting and see whether it's worth it anymore, hopefully it will be. Saturday was great but Sunday was well, let's just say, quite poor.

I'll talk about the extra additions to the table in a bit. Starting from the top 4 Pronged Attack was involved with the Midlands Grand National as I think it's called at Uttoxeter. Our main pick Synchronised was pushing for a win only to end up placed meaning our win only bet lost out. The other selection stopped off at the service station for pie and chips according to my contacts. lol

Good SATURDAY for the Bettor Logic Bets, Sunday let 1.75 PTS slip through the bag; the selection on Inter being over 3.5 goals was always going to be a bit dodgy especially after their marathon Champions League tie against Bayern Munich. Another selection that didn't do the business was Maritimo in the Portuguese Superliga, I'll be frank, I can't stand the Superliga for betting/trading. After some strange results earlier in the season I've kept well away... Conference North Bets came in with a nice winner at 2.75, no bookies would allow me the 3.0 advised! bad bad bad booookies....

After Saturday's total wipeout Form Bet had a rest today, I think. There were no bets anyway. It is such a strange service at times, very volatile with its ups and downs. To be fair though we had at least three selections finishing in second. To keep my mind healthy I much prefer selections either win or lose badly.

As for the footy....

Football Elite yet again letting us down. Of the 5 selections only the 1 winner, due a good run me thinks, or me hopes! The other services performed superbly: Skeeve came in with a nice 10.5 PTS; Football Investor with 3.5 PTS and Mr Gekko Bets with a big 6.7 PTS. Of course, it's all about the picks and probabilities but always a good feeling when they do the business, and even more so when they do it together! Misses always gets a treat on big winning days!

I've been looking into Football Investor's profit at given odds ranges, I'll just put up the losing ones:
- Odds greater than or equal to 4.0 and less than 5.0 = -9.84 PTS
- Odds greater than or equal to 6.0 and less than 7.0 = -9 PTS
- Odds greater than or equal to 9.0 and less than 10.0 = -3 PTS
- Total Loss = -21.84 PTS

I wouldn't take much notice of the results at 9.0 or greater as there were only three picks, but the other two odds ranges are worth a second look. I'll be looking at Football Investor's spreadsheets for previous seasons to see if there's a trend. If we can pick up on any trends it could help to increase profits. The reason I've been looking into this is yet again a big outsider in St Mirren were winning at Hearts, only to lose by 3-2 late on. The odds I got were 6.7. All other odds ranges made tidy profits, apart from the under 2.0 which actually made a loss to 1.92 PTS from 147 PTS staked.

Regarding the updated table, I won't be including financial information for the day, but for both the month and year I will be. As you'll notice my yearly figure is less than half of this month's figure; that's down to a very poor January and February and excellent March. The All Tipsters Total is the total points from all tipsters that I've ever used and the Active Tipsters Total is the points from tipsters I'm using now. I've even included my All-time financial total after transaction fees being deducted. Unfortunately in the early days I spent a lot of money subscribing to a lot of proper crap: e-books, unproven services, non-proofed services, risky services, etc., all of this has seriously eroded my profit after costs. However, the last 6-12 months have seen a lot of improvements and I'm doing most things right nowadays. Onwards and upwards!

It's been a long weekend so at 9:30pm I'm off to give the Misses some attention, poor thing! lol

Until tomorrow
