Nothing lost, nothing gained

Cheltenham hasn't been the best, and I'm sure Nicholls and Ruby Walsh have been at something. On Tuesday in the 13:30 Walsh won on Al Ferof at an SP of 11.0, then today they could only manage fourth on Poquelin. I didn't see the races but it just doesn't add up.

I am seriously contemplating following the System Selections for 4 Pronged Attack, they have been doing very well over the past year. Obviously I won't stop following the Account Bets but may do the System Selections as a separate service within my portfolio. Where the Account Bets won nothing today the System Selections won about 8 PTS if I'm not mistaken.

Fortunately Equine Investments had another good day as did Northern Monkey Punter. And there was even a bonus win with Accidental Bets coming in with a small winner. I was quite surprised to see Form Bet have an overall loss for the day especially as we were on Junior at 7.5 E/W, but just goes to show that if you're backing a lot of selections and only 1 or 2 does the business you won't always be in profit.

I'm hoping to change the daily table I put up to include some financial figures. I think it'll give a real insight into what I'm actually making, or not... I can tell you all that the year so far has seen a profit of around +£200 and the month around +£1,800. Those figures don't include subscription costs.

I'll leave it at that, tomorrow looks promising with 4 Pronged Attack looking to place a few more bets than usual!

Until then,
