New milestone

It's always nice to reach a new milestone, be it on a personal or working level. I'm one to commemorate small victories and the latest victory is one I shall definitely be raising my glass to. Life is so short, after seeing my late aunty fall victim to cancer and her life evaporate within a couple of months it reinforces the need to made every day count. All this organisation, preparation, etc. means that in the long-run I will have a lot more time to play with. Whilst much of that extra time will be dedicated to research I won't be missing out on bikerides, travelling when I can and most importantly spending time with the family. I don't want to sound pessimistic but as my mother says, "we're living on borrowed time".

So what is this new milestone I've reached? It's the 20k mark for the Financial Totals. Now I may flirt with that figure over the coming days and weeks but as I've passed it for the first time it's worth a celebration. Having lived in Brazil and seen how they party for anything reaching 20k is certainly a good excuse for me! lol The significance of passing this mark is more personal but it does tell me that there is certainly money to be made from the bookies and exchanges. Also, I'm probably into a moderest profit for the year now after deducting costs.

I'll leave it at that, back this evening with today's results and the monthly review.

    For someone who is just starting their portforlio, £20000 seems a long way off.

    Still one step at a time, my target at the moment is £200 profit.

    What goes up must come down and today meant we're certainly back under the 20k! lol Oh well, I'm sure it won't be long before we're back over.

    Setting yourself small targets is an ideal way to reach big targets, I never envisaged making 20k and I hope in a few years time I reach much higher, that would be my ultimate goal.

    Hi Bob, doesn't include subscriptions I'm afraid. Once I've made my first million (lol) I'll put everything up then!
