Day riddled with errors

It was certainly a long day today and it took its tole. It's something I'm aware of now and losing concentration in gambling is very dangerous.

A good PTS profit today, but I actually made a small financial loss due to varying stakes. The Trading was going well until about 6pm. I then forgot to check to see if a correct score trade had been matched for the FC Twente game only to discover after the game it hadn't, well, it had been partly matched but still cost me 5 PTS and then instead of trading the Over 3.5 goals market on the Real Madrid game I traded the Under 3.5 goals costing me a further 2 PTS. Pity these lessons can't bring you money instead of you losing some... All tipster bets are double-checked already after I got caught out by 5Dimes once. When odds are less than evens they automatically switch their staking method from Risk to To Win. I.e. Instead of you risking $100 at odds of 1.8 you are effectively changing your stake to win $100. I sent them an email once but replies from bookies are never that intellectual I have to say. And I think I'm intellectual??

We have a couple of new tipsters at the bottom of the table: PCB is the SBC golf tips which are free and SR is Signature Racing from Bet Advisor. If Ian Poulter can hold his lead at the Hong Kong Open we'll be looking at a nice little profit. Signature Racing also had a profitable day, they tend to go for shorter priced horses and at 1.909 I would have been disappointed if the selection hadn't won!

Some nice winners for Herbie Fogg, 4 Pronged Attack, Form Bet, Skeeve and Mr Gekko Bets. If Hayes and Yeading had held onto their lead with only 10 minutes remaining the day's results would have been much better, but that's gambling. Gambling itself is a gamble!

I'll be looking to get some procedure implemented so that all bets are double-checked from now on and not just for the tipsters. These costly mistakes are ruining my Trading. I Laid Chelsea when they went 1-0 down and it gave me a considerable return, only to throw those hard earned PTS away on selecting the wrong trade and not checking a correct score, rudimentary errors. I suppose the positive to take out of all this is that I'm recognising my errors, it's just a pity there are so many of them...

Until tomorrow!
