The Trading is going well, but should have been better. Again, I placed a wrong bet and it cost me 1.8 PTS... the problem is when you're rushing and when two markets are around the same odds, you tend to look at the odds rather than the market. Still, it's nothing to complain about as slowly but surely I'm turning it around.
A nice 9/1 winner for 4 Pronged Attack, I thought it was going to be one of those days when Binocular didn't come in, but just goes to show why you should detach yourself from anything you can't control. I didn't track any selections I had no interest in today, just those that could potentially bring opportunities, such as the in-play on Betfair.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you stake on Football investor. You have recorded a loss of - 4.57.
At 1pt level there were 4 losing selection on FI -4 and 4 losing 2 winning on strike zone giving a loss of -2.56 (or 2.57).
So the overall loss should be -6.57, right?

Hi HB, theoretically you are right yes. However, I don't place the same selections twice to limit my exposure. If I remember correctly there were two selections that were on FI and Strike Zone so I only backed them once.
ReplyDeleteWhat's worse is that sometimes the FI/Strike Zone selections are also with Mr Gekko Bets meaning I could back the same selection three times... it's never a good idea to overexpose yourself, no matter how good the service. And Football Investor is having a bad time lately isn't it?!

You're right HB, I had put the game date as today instead of yesterday. Makes Football Investor's results look even worse now... I'll be putting up a weekend table to include everything.

ReplyDeleteFor me it is still okay as I do not bet the odds-on selections. It surprises me that he i advising bets at 1.50 or so.
