Again, not a busy day, but I took the opportunity to catch up on a few things.

A slow day also gave me an opportunity to test out some trading strategies. Whilst I didn't put money on all of them as they were just ideas they all did come off which was very positive. There are two areas I'm focusing on when trading now: what my maximum potential liability would be (before starting) and plan B in case things don't turn out as they should. I have to adopt a mindset where taking small losses is part of the game, because it is. You can't assume things will go your way: trading is about making small losses and small gains, when you make big losses as I have done then you must do something about it or quit. Trading is mostly psychological: sound analysis (20%) and a winning and positive attitude (80%) in my opinion. There is no room for fear, chasing losses or being the slightest pessimistic or euphoric in good and bad times. A lot of this I'm taking from the book I'm reading, but it makes so much sense.

I shall not even be looking at whether Mr Gekko' selections or anyone else's for that matter are winning or losing throughout the course of the afternoon. Precious time is being eaten up by Team X winning or losing, I have probably missed out on countless opportunities due to focusing on things I have absolutely no control over. So Futbol24.com will be turned on and only those games available in-play on Betfair will be on the list! Let's get things right, I've been doing them wrong for much too long!

So a busy day tomorrow! Tchau

  1. Hi,
I see you have a link to my blog and also a link to that of the Betfair Trading expert. That product takes most of its tennis information from my site and is a rip off of my work. Ofcourse its up to you which links you have on your blog but if you keep his link I would appreciate you removing mine.
    Thanks
