All round

A good contribution all round today and it's a perfect illustration of why a portfolio is so important.

It could of been so much better if Bath hadn't let a 2-0 lead slip at Dorchester. I don't want to say "that's lower league football" because look what happened to Arsenal at Sunderland and Manchester United at Everton, and even Newcastly at Everton. This season isn't like last, there are so many anomalies going on, apart from Chelsea! But they're up against Man. City this coming weekend so lets wait and see how they fair against a top side!

Last day for Equine Investments today and there was no bet. Football Investor and Football Elite Shortlist bets are going really well this month. And what's even more satisfying is that for the services that have been winning I actually stake more dosh on. That also means that if they go on a losing run I'll be losing more money.

I hope to talk about a few topics over the coming week once I get a bit of time. I'm also trialling the Bettorlogic software and when I have a few results under my belt I'll do an update.

Until tomorrow

  1. Hi,

Thank you for writing this excellent blog!
Just a quick note to let you know that your ROI calculation is wrong.
It is always calculating based on 1 point stake, no matter how many points were stakes:
    e.g. today FI 2.98 profit, staked 8, ROI 298%!!! (instead of 37%).

  2. Thanks HB,
It appears I was using the wrong calculation, but just for the table. The graphs were fine... I'm not the best when it comes to these financial calculations but any corrections are much appreciated.
