Great work from Skeeve yet again. As he put in the evening's email it's down to hard work. And that sums up most aspects of life itself, if you think you've found a niche to work in and you put the time and effort in to become a specialist in your area you've got every chance of being successful.
Not a great day from 4 Pronged Attack, but we were unlucky with the first selection pipped to the line by a nose!! What I don't fully understand though is why we didn't have Redford again in the 15:40 at Ascot, having won with this horse last week: it won comfortably today. Mr Gekko Bets continues its slow start, but to be fair Barnet were winning 2-0 away only for the game to end up 2-2. To be honest I didn't realise there would be so many bets, it's too much. This weekend conjured up 16 selections!
Here is Football Elite - Shortlist Bets results thus far, to Draw No Bet:
I am backing the selections to half of what I back the normal Football Elite selections. They haven't been proofed enough but I am very happy with the results so far. It is one of those risks that could turn out to go against you, but touch wood, the results continue to go our way. If I had been playing to Win only the results would have been even better, but judging from last seasons Shortlist Bets results the safer option was Draw No Bets.
The Bettor Logic bets that I've been placing are doing ok. I say ok because there have been a couple of games that haven't worked out, but I put that down to teams playing shockingly, like Bayern Munich losing at home, again. Overall I've actually lost money but I'm playing to small stakes and when you're testing you should either keep stakes to an absolute minimum or paper trade. I will start including the bets within my spreadsheets soon and I'll create a service called Bettor Logic so it'll appear in the daily table.
