Mallorca won easily today on the Shortlist bets, I knew we should have had them win only though... I had them as a DNB but odds were only 1.5. I remember Football Elite choosing Mallorca many a time last season and we made some nice profits on them. Strong at home but poor away... they must like their island outfit! lol Unfortunately the other Shortlist bet lost, losing 4-1 to Napoli, they did us last week too with Sampdoria's bet losing after initially going 1-0 up.
Football Elite's only bet came in, maybe thanks to a sending off. Sending offs usually go against us so nice to see that winner today. And what a shocker with Newcastle? Not a good enough team for the Premier League in my opinion, definitely lacking a Michael Owen and robust, sweaty midfielder that puts his weight about!
Overall not a bad weekend, could of been much worse so we'll keep the optimistic outlook as always!
Like I said, not a bad weekend, small profit... not too sexy, not too dull, acceptable but room for improvement.
