Lonely job

Gambling can be such a lonely business at times, it's not like you can go out after work and have a rant with your "gambling" friends is it. The best friends we have are X-ray123, Bigdog99 and the likes on gambling forums. lol. I'm not complaining, I actually wouldn't want to be seen as a bragger the day the 25/1 shot comes in or if Football Elite have a good weekend. I rarely tell anyone about any winners or losers, apart from my mother or the wife.

Like I've said before I'm one to commemorate small victories so if the wife's treated to a meal out or flowers she generally understands how the gambling's been going. Also, as a thank you for helping out with bet placement I buy her the odd present here and there.

Here are today's results:

Not a great deal on but Wimbledon coming from behind against Crawley was won of those results that I savour for the days when "everything" seems to be going against me. As I've talked about on the SBC forum from a gambling point of view it's so important to hang onto those moments where you had that slice of luck, so that when things are going poorly you have those lucky moments helping you weather the storm.

With that win for Wimbledon I have already covered the subscription costs for Football Investor! The annoying thing about winning is that you then expect a losing run. However, if there isn't a losing run I see that as a bonus. I don't think pessimisticly but losing runs are part of the game.

Lots of bets to place tomorrow, as always!

Until tomorrow
